(I know—it’s a long name!). I go by Maria in professional settings, but my friends and family call me Majo, which inspired the name of this website.

I'm a journalism student at Sheridan College with roots in Colombia and a passion for storytelling that connects people from all over. I’m especially drawn to stories that feel fresh, diverse, and underrepresented. One of my favorite topics to explore is the music industry, particularly Latin music. I'm always deep in research, discovering trends, artists, and the cultural moments shaping the scene.
