Week of March 14 to 21
Welcome to another Friday update, this week the updates will be mixed with the Latin spotlight!

Some weeks ago I talked about Fuego Fuego the Latin music festival here in Canada. Music festivals are the best way to enjoy music and have a great time. So with all that said this week we’re gonna talk about music festivals and some of them that are happening this year!
The start this week is the one (ish) and only Lollapalooza. The festival has been around for over 30 years. This week the lineup for Chicago was released with headliners: Tyler, The Creator, Luke Combs, Olivia Rodrigo, Korn, Rüfüs Du Sol, Twice, Sabrina Carpenter and A$AP Rocky. Also, Young Miko, Ca7triel & Paco Amoroso, The Marías, and Latin Mafia will be representing Latin America in the different stages at Grant Park from July 31st to August 3rd. Full info here!
Continuing with Lollapalooza Argentina, Chile and Brazil are ready for this awesome festival. Argentina and Chile share the same dates, March 21st, 22nd and 23rd and Brazil will be later on the 28th, 29th and 30th of March. The three of them shared almost the same artists which makes it a three-day and three-countries event. Keeping South America as a big stage for music and good times.
Also in Latin America, Colombia is also close to its major music festival, keeping most of the artists of the Lollapalooza the Festival Estéreo Picnic will take place from March 27th to March 30th. It combines pop, R&B, house, reggaeton and rock in the heart of its capital Bogota, and my home city. El Parque Simón Bolivar will be the stage, a huge park that hosts many concerts and festivals for all music lovers.
Another popular festival that is coming soon is the iconic Coachella Valley Music and Art Festival, this week the Brazilian superstar Anitta released a statement stepping out of the festival due to personal reasons. She is a huge loss in the amazing lineup that the festival had prepared. The 6-day event has hosted the most iconic and vibrant performances from singers and musicians from all over the world and all the music genres.
What other festivals like those you are excited about this year?
