Week 13 -21 February
Welcome back!

It was a light week for the music industry. The past weeks, we had the Grammys, Superbowl and Juno nominations. This week, we just had a very interesting special that shows the music's influence on the audience. SNL's 50th anniversary released a documentary showing the most iconic music moments and how that has built on the artists’ careers through time. I personally didn’t know how much the show influenced the music industry. If you didn’t catch it on the weekend, I recommend you take a look at it.
There are some interesting tours this year. The biggest artists are going all over the world. We have Beyoncé with Cowboy Carter Tour, Shakira with Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour, Kendrick Lamar and SZA with Grand National Tour and almost 30 other singers and musicians. Two of my favourite entertainment publications have made awesome summaries of the artists, their tours, songs and dates. Pitchfork as the first one, with more new and alternative artists. And The Hollywood Reporter with the most known ones. Both are long lists, and probably most of you will read them but I know it can be a lot, so thanks to AI I could have an easier guide for both articles.
Pitchfork: A short and sweet overview of what you can find in the list.

The Hollywood Reporter: My favourite one. It doesn’t have all the concerts listed but it has some important ones with the months they are going to perform! That is what I wanted to show all of you.

Like I said before both are made by Chatgpt to condense and make clearer the information.
New music!!
This week the new music section will have as always Canadian releases (music listened to or made by Canadians) and new releases in Latin America. Why? Because this week the Latin music industry is on fire! (And that will be the Latin Spotlight of this week as well)
We had the album announcement last week with a single that will be part of it. This week Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco released a new single from the upcoming album I Said I Love You First. Call Me When You Break Up With Gracie Abrams. The Canadian Singer and dancer Tate McRae released two songs Revolving Door solo and I Know Love feat. The Kid LAROI. The fans have been waiting for this single quite some time and Dove Cameron finally released the new baddies anthem Too Much.
More new music:
Update by Burna Boy.
THUS IS WHY (I DON’T SPRING 4 LOVE) BY Saya Gray (New album SAYA).
ExtraL by JENNIE feat. Doechii.
Taste by Coco Jones.
Now the Latin view! Who would’ve thought that astrology would collide with tropical music? Rawayana and Bomba Estéreo made it true. ASTROPICAL is the name of their new album and music group (between the two bands) With six of the zodiac signs this project has united the Colombian and Venezuelan tropical music movements. Following that path, the fifth W Sound with Beéle has the vibe of the Colombian coast with a modern rhythm, La Plena - W Sound 05. W Sound is a project by the Colombian streamer Westcol in collaboration with Ovy On The Drums and Big Ligas.
More new music:
Fale Então by Marshmello & Trueno.
Bunda by Emilia & Luísa Sonza.
Chalala by Hamilton & De La Ghetto.
Pensando En Ti by West Blanco & Juan Duque & Luister La Voz.
Wonderful by Carmen DeLeon.
